About the Miller Information Commons

The award winning Robert E. & Holly D. Miller Information Commons (MIC) is the heart of the campus featuring friendly, knowledgeable service, a tailored print and digital research collection, new technology, beautiful architecture and a stunning view. It¡¯s your home for creation, collaboration, inspiration, and academic success.

The Miller Information Commons was named to honor Robert and Holly Miller, whose generosity made it a reality. Truex, Cullins & Partners Architects won the Hertzel Pasackow Award for significant contributions to the physical or architectural quality of downtown Ê¢¾©ÆåÅÆ for their design. Groundbreaking ceremonies were held on May 2, 1997 and the building was completed on April 30, 1998.
